Cohort 2

Edited Time
What is going on in this video is me free drawing myself reaching for my record player. I wanted to do something that was easy but helped me make time for my own personal drawing time.
Reflection:
-
I loved doing this time lapse of me drawing. It actually motivated me to do more, as if someone was looking over my shoulder and I HAD to do something.
-
I had to make sure I wasn't covering the camera; it was kind of a challenge because I tend to hunch over while drawing. But that is just another thing that the time lapse helped me not do: hunch.
Stealth
Reflection:
-
I was able to achieve my goals in this photograph.
-
One success I was able to achieve was the lighting. I love how the lighting barely covers my face and creates a sense of mystery.
-
One challenge that I encountered was trying to figure out how to position the camera. I had numerous ideas that I thought was good, but when I saw the photos, it just wasn't right. But, in the end, I was able to get the right photograph.
Experimental Film
Reflection:
I have always mean a fan of classical music, especially opera music. when I heard this son, I imagined a wave rising and falling. I corporate that by having the low/sad notes of the song were dark and the climx of the song happy and a huge Frame of the purple sky. I want to do more of these Experimental films, I find that they can express feeling more than our lips can.
Reflection
I loved everything from Studio D, I loved the exploration through different forms of 4D work like photography and animations. It has really given me new ideas about my own personal artwork and the possibilities that lay in front of me. My favorite project that I did for this class was the stop-motion and rotoscoping project titled, “A brand new Beginning”. It challenged me to organize my time and storyboarding, and it taught me patience. It represents the love that I have for music, what you can do with it, and how it can save you from deep caverns from your life. I have always been in love with music, so this project really got me in the spirits. The Katherine Lewis project taught me how to edit music and videos. It has made me discover a part of myself that loves editing, and I will continue to do it in the future. The metamorphosis project has helped me recognize that anything can turn into something. I think that project used my creativity the most because we had to find how one thing would turn into another, no matter how different they looked from each other. I loved this class and will highly consider taking another 4D class in the future.
